Cookie Policy

1. Who We Are and Scope of This Policy

EDUCRAFTER LABS LTD is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15388035, with its registered office at 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, England, W1W 7LT. We operate the Walletorix platform and website at www.walletorix.com (the “Website”) in our capacity as an authorised agent of Marvli Payment OÜ (Estonian registration number 16338540).

This Cookie Policy explains the way in which Walletorix collects and uses information through cookies and related tracking technologies on the Website. The policy forms part of our broader data protection framework, which also includes our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

By continuing to use the Website after being presented with our cookie notice, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

2. What Are Cookies and How Do They Work?

Cookies are compact text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. Each cookie typically contains a name, a value, and an expiry date. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others remain on your device for a set period or until you remove them (persistent cookies).

Beyond conventional cookies, we may also use the following technologies, which this policy covers:

  • Pixel tags (also known as web beacons or clear GIFs): invisible image files that record whether a web page or email has been viewed;
  • HTML5 local storage: a mechanism for storing data within your browser that persists beyond a single session;
  • Authentication tokens: short-lived credentials that keep you securely logged in while you navigate the Website.

References to “cookies” throughout this document apply to all of the above technologies unless otherwise stated.

3. The Cookies We Use

Our cookies fall into four distinct categories. The purposes for which we use each type are described below, along with the legal basis on which we rely.

3.1 Strictly Necessary

Certain cookies are indispensable to the operation of the Website. Without them, functions such as secure account login, transaction processing, and fraud detection cannot work. These cookies are activated automatically whenever you use the Website and cannot be switched off within our system. They do not store any personally identifiable information beyond what is required to maintain your session.

Legal basis: Consent is not required. Regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) provides a specific exemption for cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service that the user has requested.

3.2 Analytics and Performance

We use analytics cookies to gather aggregated, anonymised data about how our Website is used — for example, the volume of visitors, the most-visited pages, and how users move through our registration and account management flows. None of this data is used to identify individual users. The primary purpose is to help us identify friction points and improve the overall quality of the Website.

Our current analytics provider is Google Analytics, a service operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). As part of this service, anonymised data may be processed outside of the United Kingdom. Where international data transfers occur, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.

Legal basis: Your consent. You may withdraw it at any time.

3.3 Functional

Functional cookies enhance your experience on the Website by enabling it to retain information about your preferences and settings between visits. This might include your chosen language, regional display preferences, or the state of certain interface elements. Some of these cookies may be set by trusted third-party providers whose functionality is integrated into our Website.

Legal basis: Your consent. You may withdraw it at any time.

3.4 Advertising and Targeting

We may set, or permit third parties to set, advertising cookies on our Website. These cookies track your browsing activity to build a profile of your interests, which can be used to show you tailored advertising on our Website or on other sites across the internet. We may share the information collected with our advertising partners for this purpose.

An example of a tool we may use is the Facebook Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland). Any data shared with such providers will be handled in accordance with their own privacy frameworks, links to which are available on request.

Legal basis: Your consent. You may withdraw it at any time.

4. Consent Management

We will seek your consent for non-essential cookies when you first visit the Website. Our cookie banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies in their entirety, or make category-by-category selections according to your preferences.

Our processing of personal data via cookies is based on the following UK legislation:

  • The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), retained in UK domestic law via the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018;
  • The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended from time to time;
  • The Data Protection Act 2018.

Consent is required to be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. Your continued use of the Website without accepting optional cookies will not affect your access to core services.

5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

5.1 Cookie Settings

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by accessing the “Cookie Settings” link, which can be found in the footer of every page on the Website. Updates to your preferences take effect immediately upon saving.

5.2 Browser-Level Controls

Each major web browser has its own set of tools for managing cookies. Below are signposted links for the most widely used browsers:

  • Google Chrome: navigate to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data;
  • Mozilla Firefox: navigate to Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data;
  • Apple Safari: navigate to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data;
  • Microsoft Edge: navigate to Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions.

Note that blocking all cookies at the browser level may impair certain Website features, including the ability to log in or complete transactions.

5.3 Third-Party Opt-Out Mechanisms

If you wish to limit tracking by specific third-party providers, you may do so directly through the opt-out mechanisms they make available:

  • Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Facebook / Meta ad settings: facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
  • Your Online Choices (UK/EU advertising opt-out): youronlinechoices.com

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We review this Cookie Policy on a regular basis and will update it as needed to reflect changes in applicable law, in the technologies we deploy, or in the way we operate the Website. Any revised version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Where a change is significant — such as the introduction of a new cookie category or a new third-party provider — we will notify you through a prominent notice on the Website and, where appropriate, through direct communication.

7. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

This Cookie Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this policy (including non-contractual disputes) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
